They are seeking a motivated Business Intelligence Intern to support data-driven decision-making by developing visualization tools and reporting solutions, emphasizing low-code and no-code tools while fostering an understanding of internal business processes. Responsibilities: - Learn and analyze internal business processes, workflows, and operational priorities to identify meaningful data needs - Collaborate with stakeholders to define key business questions and determine what data is required to support decision-making - Evaluate how data is currently generated, captured, and stored, and recommend improvements where needed - Gather, clean, and integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and usability - Translate process knowledge into appropriate metrics, KPIs, and data models - Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms - Recommend effective visualization approaches based on the nature of the data, user needs, and decision context - Present insights and recommendations that connect data outputs to operational or strategic actions - Assist in automating data collection and reporting processes where possible - Document data sources, business logic, assumptions, and visualization standards to support consistency and governance - Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: - Must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, approved asylum seeker, etc.) - Must be enrolled (or a recent graduate of) a graduate program in a relevant field, such as an MBA program - Familiarity with business intelligence and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Excel) - Foundational understanding of data analysis and data modeling Required Skills: Business Intelligence Tools, Data Visualization, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Data Analysis, Data Modeling, Analytical Thinking
