They are seeking a UX Engineer to enhance the mobile app experience by collaborating with product designers and engineers to create polished, production-ready UI. Responsibilities: - Build and ship high-quality UI in Matic’s mobile app - Translate Figma designs and prototypes into production-ready components - Implement smooth animations and thoughtful micro-interactions - Help visualize complex robot behaviors (mapping, obstacle detection, cleaning states) - Collaborate closely with product design to refine interaction details - Partner with design, software, algorithms, and hardware teams to ensure accurate real-time feedback - Contribute to and help evolve a scalable design system in code - Participate in feature planning and iteration discussions Required Qualifications: - 1–4+ years of experience in front-end or mobile development - Experience building product-facing UI (mobile preferred) - Familiarity with Rust and/or Python, iOS and/or Android is required - Strong attention to detail in spacing, hierarchy, motion, and interaction - Comfort working in a fast-moving, collaborative environment - Curiosity about connected devices and how software interfaces with hardware - Clear communication skills and a willingness to give and receive feedback - Portfolio showcasing relevant design work demonstrating strong visual taste, attention to detail, and the ability to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling graphics Required Skills: Mobile development, UI design, Figma Important Skills: Rust, Python, iOS development, Android development Benefits: Equity through the company’s discretionary equity program, Comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental and vision coverage access to a 401(k) plan
