Job Description
Summary: Masterworks is a fintech platform that allows anyone to invest in SEC-qualified shares of multi-million dollar paintings. They are seeking a Sales Development Representative responsible for identifying, prospecting, and qualifying new investor leads to fuel the growth of their Investment Advisor team.
Responsibilities:
- ~400+ outbound calls/day to engage potential investors and introduce them to Masterworks
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads by assessing investor interest and readiness through discovery conversations
- Articulate the Masterworks value proposition, explaining art as an alternative asset class in a compelling and accessible way
- Schedule qualified appointments and hand off warm leads to the Investment Advisor team
- Execute effective follow-ups with prospects who have shown interest but require further nurturing
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prospecting activity in CRM tools
Required Qualifications:
- 1-2+ years of outbound sales or business development experience
- Strong understanding of financial markets and alternative investments
- Genuine interest in selling alternative investment products
- Proven ability to build rapport quickly and manage a high-volume pipeline
- Highly organized, results-driven, and motivated by hitting targets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work full time
- Must be eligible to work in the US
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of experience in financial services
- Interest in art
