Lawn Care & Landscape Enhancement Technician

Love Working Outdoors? Want More Than Just a Job?

At MasterScapes, we're looking for hardworking, dependable individuals who take pride in their work and want to build a long-term career in the landscaping industry.

We're not looking for someone who just wants to push a mower and collect a paycheck. We're looking for someone who's motivated to learn, willing to take on new challenges, and excited about growing with a company that invests in its people.

As a Lawn Care & Landscape Enhancement Technician, your primary focus will be maintaining beautiful, healthy properties through professional lawn care and landscape maintenance. You'll also have opportunities to work on landscape enhancement projects as they arise, allowing you to expand your skills beyond routine maintenance.

One day you might be maintaining a customer's property, and the next you could be helping transform that same landscape through a new installation or enhancement project.

Our Ideal Candidate

Our ideal candidate is hardworking, coachable, adaptable, and takes pride in delivering quality work. They have some hands-on experience in landscaping, lawn care, construction, or similar outdoor work and are eager to develop their skills.

They're someone who notices the small details others overlook, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and understands the importance of showing up ready to work. They enjoy working outdoors, aren't afraid to get their hands dirty, and thrive in an environment where teamwork and accountability matter.

Most importantly, they're motivated by more than just a paycheck. They want to provide for their family, increase their earning potential, and build a career with a company that recognizes their hard work and invests in their future.

What You'll Do

Lawn Care & Property Maintenance – Primary Responsibilities • Perform routine lawn and landscape maintenance, including mowing, trimming, edging, and property cleanup. • Operate and maintain professional landscaping equipment safely and efficiently. • Maintain high standards of property appearance, quality, and attention to detail. • Work alongside team members to complete daily maintenance schedules. • Identify property concerns and communicate them to supervisors.

Landscape Enhancements – As Projects Arise • Assist with landscape enhancement and installation projects based on customer needs and project schedules. • Help install plants, shrubs, trees, mulch, rock, and other landscape materials. • Assist with landscape bed renovations, property improvements, and general enhancement work. • Transition between routine lawn maintenance and enhancement projects as business needs change. • Learn new landscaping techniques and develop skills across multiple areas of the industry.

Additional Growth Opportunities – Lawn Treatment & Irrigation • Assist with weed control and fertilization applications to promote healthy lawns and landscapes, with appropriate training and supervision. • Learn to identify common weeds, turf health concerns, and treatment needs. • Perform irrigation system inspections to identify broken sprinkler heads, leaks, coverage issues, and other system deficiencies. • Assist with troubleshooting and repairing irrigation components to improve system performance and efficiency. • Develop specialized skills in lawn treatments and irrigation services through hands-on training and opportunities to take on additional responsibilities.

This Job Is for You If: • You have some experience in landscaping, lawn care, construction, or other outdoor work. • You're dependable, hardworking, and take pride in doing things right. • You're coachable and genuinely interested in learning new skills. • You enjoy variety in your work and are willing to take on different responsibilities. • You're comfortable performing physical work outdoors in varying weather conditions. • You value teamwork, accountability, and clear communication. • You want opportunities to grow into leadership positions as the company expands.

This Probably Isn't for You If: • You're only looking for temporary work. • You aren't interested in learning anything beyond mowing. • You resist coaching or constructive feedback. • You cut corners or don't take pride in the quality of your work. • You aren't willing to adapt when business needs change.
