Job Description
Summary: Mass General Brigham is a not-for-profit organization focused on advancing patient care, research, teaching, and community service. The Research Assistant 2 will coordinate subject recruitment, clinical data collection, and study-related communications while evaluating and tracking the recruitment process for designated projects.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for data collection, management, manipulation, analysis, and reporting
- Study cohort management
- Outreach communication with subjects, conducting mailings, follow-up on mailings, and obtaining necessary documents
- Assists with preparing progress reports with basic prescriptive statistics
- Gathers information to aid in the development of future research proposals
- May be responsible for the following activities: developing and implementing strategies for improving study logistics and execution, recommending changes to protocols, and completing administrative duties
Required Qualifications:
- Excellent communication (oral and written) skills
- Phone skills
- Computer skills
- Ability to work independently and under general supervision
- Experience in data collection, management, manipulation, analysis, and reporting
- Experience in study cohort management
- Experience in outreach communication with subjects
- Ability to conduct mailings and follow-up on mailings
- Ability to obtain necessary documents
- Experience in preparing progress reports with basic prescriptive statistics
