Job Description
Summary: Mass General Brigham is a not-for-profit organization that supports patient care, research, teaching, and community service. They are seeking a Data Analyst/Clinical Research Coordinator to work in the Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing Laboratory, focusing on data management, patient recruitment, and clinical research project support.
Responsibilities:
- Obtaining and maintaining patient data and study records
- Screening and recruiting patients for clinical studies
- Conducting data analysis on exercise studies submitted to the MGH Exercise Core Laboratory
- Working on all aspects of clinical research project design, implementation, and communication of results
- Maintaining the databases across multiple studies performed by the research group
- Upkeeping databases with ongoing data collection
- Planning and developing programs for statistical analyses
- Executing statistical programs and interpreting results
- Assisting investigators in the preparation of manuscripts and grant proposals based on the results
- Proposing research ideas and broadening research background with varied tasks and assignments
- Reviewing proposals for compliance with sponsor and organizational guidelines
- Verifying the accuracy of study forms and updating them per protocol
- Preparing data for analysis and data entry
- Documenting patient visits and procedures
- Assisting with regulatory binders and QA/QC Procedures
- Assisting with interviewing study subjects
- Assisting with study regulator submissions
Required Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:
- Competencies with Excel, VBA, and/or STATA are preferred
- Experience in database design and management is preferred
- Experience with Excel, STATA, and VBA programming is heavily preferred
