Intern - Production
Based at Slimline, Pannala
The role provides hands on exposure to production management, quality standards, lean manufacturing practices, and operational excellence within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The intern will work closely with cross-functional teams to support productivity, efficiency, and on time delivery targets while gaining practical industry experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily production planning and delivery schedule monitoring to help meet customer requirements.
- Assist in tracking production performance, efficiency, quality, and output against plans.
- Help collect and analyze production data to identify issues and support corrective actions.
- Assist in coordinating style changeovers and production readiness activities.
- Support the implementation of 6S, Health & Safety, compliance, and lean manufacturing initiatives.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports and support continuous improvement projects.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Undergraduate or recent graduate in Textile & Clothing Technology, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, Apparel Production, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of manufacturing and production processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to learn production planning, quality, lean manufacturing, and operational excellence concepts.
