Pay Range: Commissions with small forgivable base ($16.00/hr)
The pay range is based on consideration of criteria such as required qualifications, experience, education and skills. Marquette Bank reserves the right to offer the selected applicant a salary commensurate with the applicant’s qualification, experience, education and skills.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, high-performing Senior Financial Advisor to join our growing Chicago team. You will inherit an established, active book of high net worth clients. This role is designed for a seasoned professional with active Illinois Insurance License and Series 7, 63 and 65 or 66 credentials who excels at relationship management and organic growth. You will immediately take over revenue-producing relationships while enjoying a highly lucrative hybrid/commission-based payout structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Book Inheritance & Retention: Transition seamlessly as the lead advisor for an established, active book of Chicago-based high net worth clients.
- Relationship Management: Deliver high touch service to retain existing client assets and maintain deep, trust-based relationships.
- Financial Planning & Strategy: Author comprehensive strategies covering retirement, estate, tax minimization, and multi-generational wealth transfer.
- Organic Growth: Identify opportunities within the inherited book for asset consolidation, insurance solutions, or generational wealth transfers.
- Internal Relationships: Builds strong partnerships across the bank that encourage referrals of clients who may benefit from financial advice.
- Compliance & Integrity: Maintain flawless regulatory standards in alignment with FINRA, SEC, and firm policies.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5–7+ years of current direct client-facing experience managing high net worth client accounts.
- Licensing: Active Series 7, 63 and 65 or 66 license(s) are strictly required; Illinois Insurance License
- Track Record: Proven ability to build immediate rapport, retain existing clients, and manage complex financial plans.
- Clean Record with FINRA/U4 regulatory history.
- Current strong working knowledge of investment products, terms and procedures
Preferred Skills
- Deep familiarity with the Chicagoland market and local financial networks.
- Proficiency with investment annuity and equity trade submission systems.
