Job Description
Summary: Marmon Foodservice Technologies is part of the global industrial organization Marmon Holdings, backed by Berkshire Hathaway. They are seeking an Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience in product design, testing, and quality while working closely with a Senior Engineer and the Engineering & Quality team.
Responsibilities:
- Our Engineering internship offers hands-on learning experience in product design, testing, quality, and manufacturing
- As an intern, you’ll work closely with a Senior Engineer and the Engineering & Quality team, assisting with various projects such as warranty/root cause analysis, process control analytics and implementation, new product testing, and more
- You’ll also gain experience in hydrostatic burst testing, grain analysis, and other product evaluation methods
- Present project reports to senior leadership, helping to develop critical communication skills and abilities
- This internship provides valuable, real-world skills and a deeper understanding of the engineering processes behind critical electrical systems
Required Qualifications:
- Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Engineering, preferably in Manufacturing, Process, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
- Rising Junior or Senior
- The ability to demonstrate relevant skills and experience required for the role
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to effectively communicate issues and solutions to all levels of the team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Cross collaboration skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft office (excel, word, Power Point, Outlook and Teams)
- Successful completion of a drug screening and a physical exam are required for this role
- Ability to work in a manufacturing setting
