Job Description
Summary: Marex is a dynamic company offering a US Summer Internship Program for students to gain hands-on experience across key business functions. The Matthews Group Summer Intern will support the analyst team by conducting supply and demand analysis, assisting with reports and dashboards, and participating in special projects to enhance analytical effectiveness.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, organize, and validate data to support ongoing supply and demand analysis
- Conduct research on market conditions, competitor activity, and industry supply and demand trends
- Assist analysts in preparing reports, dashboards, and summaries that inform business decisions
- Support forecasting efforts by maintaining and updating data models and analytical tools
- Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, or insights and communicate findings to the analyst team
- Help develop and improve templates, processes, and workflows that enhance analytical efficiency
- Participate in special projects and ad‑hoc analysis to support broader team initiatives
- Role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values
- At all times complying with Marex’s Code of Conduct
- To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility
- To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/ or your supervisor as required
- To escalate risk events immediately
- To provide input to risk management processes, as required
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in finance is preferred but economics is accepted
- Genuine interest in one or more of the program's departmental tracks
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship, including, but not limited to, F-1, J-1, and M-1 visa holders, as well as individuals on CPT or OPT
