Job Description
Summary: Marex is a dynamic company that offers a US Summer Internship Program providing students with hands-on experience across key business functions. The Global Payments Operations Intern will support the Front Office by contributing to onboarding, documentation, and platform-implementation initiatives, ensuring a smooth client experience and successful deployment of new payments capabilities.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to the Front Office function by assisting with a variety of operational tasks
- Conduct outreach to potential clients and facilitate onboarding for clients, correspondent banks, and vendors
- Coordinate documentation and ensure smooth onboarding processes in alignment with internal standards
- Assist in the technical implementation of new payments platforms, including testing and integration activities
- Collaborate with internal teams to troubleshoot issues and contribute to successful platform deployment
- Role model for demonstrating highest level standards of integrity and conduct and reflecting Company Values
- At all times complying with Marex’s Code of Conduct
- To ensure that you are fully aware of and adhere to internal policies that relate to you, your role or any other activities for which you have any level of responsibility
- To report any breaches of policy to Compliance and/or your supervisor as required
- To escalate risk events immediately
- To provide input to risk management processes, as required
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, business analytics, computer science, economics, finance, information systems / technology data science, risk management, or software engineering is preferred but accounting, cybersecurity, mathematics, political science, and supply chain management are accepted
- Genuine interest in one or more of the program's departmental tracks
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship, including, but not limited to, F-1, J-1, and M-1 visa holders, as well as individuals on CPT or OPT
