Delivery Driver - Full Time at MAP Brewing Company in Bozeman, MT

There's lots of things we're proud of here at MAP, but one thing we're especially proud of is being the largest self-distributing brewery in the state. Here's the deal, though: we can't continue to do it without your help.

There's lots of great things about this job.

1. A FOUR DAY WORK WEEK (most of the time). You know what that means? Consistent ability to have time for adventure AND down time in your life.
2. Pay starts at $23/hr. If you get your Certified Beer Server Certification through the Cicerone program, we'll give you $24/hr.
3. HEALTH BENEFITS AVAILABLE
4. 401k available for qualifying employees.

We believe taking care of our people is the most important thing because we know that work is not life. Aside from the great things listed above, though, there's a few other perks:

1. Free beer after work
2. Free shift meals
3. Opportunities to expand your beer knowledge
4. Being part of a growing company with a stellar team (we may be biased here, but we think you'll agree)
5. Day off discounts on beer and food too!

Ok, so what does this job look like? You'll work around 35-40 hours per week and deliver both kegs and cases of cans to our beautiful area. We're looking for someone who can join us through the busy winter summer at the very least (although of course we'd love for you to join our team for longer!) The position is responsible for creating and managing their own route and delivering products in a timely fashion with attention to detail. This person must have a clean driving record and have experience driving in Southwest Montana; around Bozeman, Livingston, Ennis, Big Sky, Three Forks, and Belgrade - especially in those tricky Montana winter conditions. We would ideally love this candidate to stick around through our summer season as well. You will drive a large van or a box truck depending on the route and day. No CDL required!!

It may go without saying, but it bears stressing that this is an extremely physical job that requires nearly constant movement and physical exertion throughout each day. Kegs are heavy, so you'll need to be able to repeatedly lift them (165 lbs). We're looking for someone who is trustworthy, motivated, reliable, personable, detail oriented, and has a good driving record. Did we mention that lifting kegs is a crucial part of this job? We do use hand trucks to walk kegs from vehicles to accounts but there will be times where you’ll have to lift them manually.

Beer line cleaning will also be tasked on certain days of the week when there are no deliveries. Experience with beer and draught line maintenance is a plus, but we will train on the job for the right person!

You got this far, which means you're considering it, right? Get in touch to hear more (feel free to message on Indeed or email mapbrewing at gmail dot com) or drop a resume off at MAP so we can chat. We'd love to have you join our crew.
