Responsibilities: - Contributing to our team of highly skilled Cloud Engineers/Software Engineers/Data Engineers, dedicated to accelerating the adoption of digital innovation across Manulife - Effectively complete projects and other duties as assigned in a collaborative and challenging environment - Implementing and building solutions that will support advancing our target state architecture and aligning with our client's strategic vision - Working closely with the business teams to gather requirements for new and changes to existing business solutions - Participating in community-driven projects which are focused on removing roadblocks and empowering teams - Help us make technology provisioning, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, release management, migration, or decommissioning better, faster, and simpler Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - Experience developing modern applications in at least one programming language (Java, Python, Go, Java script, etc.) - Experience collaborating on and/or managing code in a source code versioning system (Git, BitBucket, etc.) Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL Required Skills: Programming languages, Source code versioning Important Skills: Relational databases Nice-to-Have Skills: Teamwork, Collaboration Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer
