Marketing Intern
Location: Toronto, Ontario
The Opportunity
Join our team as a Marketing Intern with Group Retirement's Member Engagement & Retention Team. Our mission is to connect with plan members and inspire active involvement in group retirement programs. We focus on developing a wide range of educational and communication materials designed to drive engagement and support informed decision-making among our members.
Responsibilities
Contribute to the creation and editing of marketing and communication materials, including emails, presentations, educational resources, and digital content.
Assist in coordinating campaigns and updating content across internal platforms and member-facing websites.
Help ensure all communications are consistent, clear, and aligned with our brand.
Support the tracking and reporting of campaign metrics and engagement data.
Assist with organizing educational events, webinars, and advisor-led sessions.
Conduct light research and offer ideas to enhance member engagement and communication effectiveness.
Provide general administrative and project support to teammates as needed.

What We Are Looking For
You are currently enrolled in a university program—preferably in marketing, communications, business, economics, or a related field.
You possess high proficiency in written and spoken English; proficiency in written French is an asset.
You are comfortable using Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); experience with digital marketing platforms or CRM tools is an asset.
You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
You are proactive, reliable, and eager to learn in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
You bring a positive attitude and flexibility to adapt to changing projects and timelines.
You are able to work independently as well as part of a team.
An interest in marketing, communications, and financial education is an asset.
