Summary: MANN+HUMMEL is focused on advancing early-stage innovation and is seeking an Advanced Technology Intern. This role involves supporting project managers and contributing to the development of new products and technologies in filtration and separation.

Responsibilities:
- Investigate emerging filtration and separation technologies for bioprocessing technologies
- Support innovation project managers with assigned project tasks
- Conduct product, technology, and market research
- Interview customers and subject matter experts
- Support ideation-phase projects and help develop potential solutions
- Publish meeting/workshop minutes and reports
- Perform all tasks in a positive and professional manner

Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Bioprocessing Science, Biological Engineering, Molecular and Structural Biochemistry, Plant and Microbial Biology, Animal Science, Biotechnology, Food Science, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical or Process Engineering, or related field
- Experience or interest in one or more of the following areas: project management, online research, patent research analysis, technical report writing, prototype construction, and testing
- Experience or interest in one or more of the following areas: Membrane production (microfiltration, ultrafiltration, nanofiltration), Centrifugation, Chromatography, Bioreactors and fermentation, Nucleic Acid Sample Preparation, Downstream purification
- Strong interest in bioprocessing technologies for medical, pharmaceutical, or food and agriculture related applications
- Strong interest filtration and separation technologies
- Strong organization, coordination, and communication skills (written and oral)
- Ability to multitask in a collaborative team and office setting
- Excellent knowledge and use of Microsoft Office applications
- Interest in sustainable, circular filtration concepts to reduce waste and improve environmental performance
