HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH APPRENTICE – MANUFACTURING & QUALITY
MANITOWOC PATTERN & MACHINING (MP&M) | MANITOWOC, WI
Schedule: Flexible
Manitowoc Pattern & Machining (MP&M) is looking for a High School Youth Apprentice to join our team and gain hands-on experience in a real manufacturing environment. This is a great opportunity to learn how precision-machined products are made while developing skills in quality, production, safety, teamwork, and problem-solving.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Perform quality checks on machined castings and components
- Identify and report quality concerns or defects
- Assist with assembling machined castings
- Learn to recognize what a quality product looks like
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow established safety procedures and wear required PPE
- Work as part of a team to meet production and quality expectations
YOU MUST BE…
- Currently enrolled in high school and participating in a Youth Apprenticeship program
- Dependable and willing to learn
- Detail-oriented and takes pride in doing things correctly
- Comfortable working with your hands
- Able to communicate when something doesn’t look right
- Safety-conscious
- A team player with a positive attitude
- Interested in exploring a future in manufacturing, machining, engineering, quality, or skilled trades
WHAT YOU’LL GAIN

You’ll work on the manufacturing floor, where you’ll be exposed to noise, machinery, and industrial processes. Appropriate PPE, including safety glasses, safety shoes, and hearing protection, is required.
