We're an early-stage physical AI and robotics startup based in Bengaluru, building robots for industrial manufacturing shop floors. We're a fast-moving team working on hard problems in a nascent space, and we're growing quickly.

Role Overview

We're looking for a Data Engineer with 1 to 4 years of experience to own the data pipeline at Manav. This is a foundational role that shapes how we collect, structure and use data across the company, from robot performance to manufacturing process research, with strong ownership from day one.

Responsibilities

Own and maintain the end to end data pipeline, from ingestion to storage to delivery
Build, monitor and scale ETL and ELT processes across multiple data sources
Design and maintain data models, schemas and warehousing structures
Run manual and automated quality assessments on data flowing through the pipeline, catching and resolving issues before they reach downstream systems
Build automated checks and validation rules to flag bad or incomplete data early
Set up monitoring and alerting to catch pipeline failures before they cause downstream issues
Work closely with the engineering, robotics and operations teams to understand data needs
Optimize pipeline performance as data volume grows.
Document data infrastructure, QA processes and pipeline logic for the wider team

Requirements

1 to 3 years of experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data infrastructure role
Hands-on experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines
Experience with both manual data review and automated quality assessment or validation frameworks
Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and tools
Experience with data pipelines in a robotics or AI environment preferred
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced startup environment
Ability to join immediately

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
