The Corporate Operator/HR Assistant will provide exceptional customer service, assist with employee onboarding, and perform general clerical tasks to support the Human Resource Department. Responsibilities: - Answers and routes high volume of incoming calls in a clear and professional manner - Provides exceptional customer service when greeting all visitors and responding to employees and guests needing assistance - Assists with high-volume employee onboarding - Performs general clerical tasks such as data entry, filing, mail sorting, copying, and faxing supporting the Human Resource Department - This is an entry level, Seasonal hourly position with high volume employee and guest interaction Required Qualifications: - High school graduate/GED required - 1+ years' experience working in an office environment, preferably in a reception or switchboard operator position - Excellent computer skills - High level of confidence and accuracy - Superior customer service skills and phone etiquette required - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters, and to remain calm under pressure - Punctual, conscientious, reliable - Organized, attentive to detail, able to manage time, prioritize and work with deadlines Preferred Qualifications: - Some college or equivalent experience preferred - Knowledge of all aspects of ski area operations preferred - Some Spanish language skills strongly preferred Required Skills: Customer service skills, Phone etiquette Important Skills: Computer skills, Spanish language skills Nice-to-Have Skills: Professional attitude Benefits: Ski passes for dependents (spouse/child(ren)/domestic partners) includes free skiing at other Alterra Resorts, Free skiing at all Alterra Resorts, Ski/snowboarding lessons discounts, Equipment Rental discount, Friends and Family vouchers, Retail & Food discount, 401k with company match
