The Product Business Analyst will be responsible for analysing business needs, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting the delivery of software solutions. The Product Business Analyst will be working closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Engineering, Quality Assurance, Regulatory, and Client success, to translate business requirements into clear, actionable documentation and insights.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Owners, stakeholders, and subject matter experts to gather, analyse, document, and validate business and user requirements.
Develop and maintain high-quality requirements of documentation, including user stories, use cases, process flows, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications, ensuring clarity, completeness, and traceability.
Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements that support product development and delivery activities.
Work closely with Engineering and Quality Assurance teams to clarify requirements, support solution design discussions, and ensure accurate and testable implementation.
Analyse customer feedback, business processes, product usage data, and operational insights to identify opportunities for product improvements and optimisation.
Support market, customer, and competitive research activities by gathering and analysing relevant data, trends, and industry practices to inform product decisions.
Contribute to roadmap planning and prioritization activities by providing requirements analysis, stakeholder input, dependency mapping, and impact assessments.
Identify and communicate risks, dependencies, gaps, and requirements of complexities that may impact product delivery or business outcomes.
Support product releases through the preparation of documentation, training materials, user guidance, and internal stakeholder enablement activities.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders to validate requirements, manage expectations, and ensure alignment between business objectives and delivered solutions.
Promote best practices in business analysis, requirements management, and documentation standards across product and delivery teams.
Objectives:

Identify and document process improvements with measurable impact
Ensure timely delivery of high-quality outputs through effective stakeholder collaboration
Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date product and requirements documentation
Compliance Requirements:
The employee is required to comply with all applicable data protection and information security policies and procedures relevant to its role. This includes actively supporting the principles of privacy by design and confidentiality when handling personal and health-related information, as applicable to its role.
The employee shall:
Ensure appropriate handling of personal and health information in line with confidentiality and integrity standards;
Report suspected data breaches or security incidents promptly;
Follow established access control, data classification, and secure communication protocols;
Participate in mandatory training and audits related to information security and data protection;
Apply the company's best practices and guidance to safeguard information assets and support the company's compliance; and
Practice responsibilities as defined in the Information Security Policy in accordance with the employee’s role.
Previous Experience/Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in health informatics, Biomedical Informatics, Life Sciences, Nursing, or Information/Computer Science
1–2 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a related role within a software development and/or healthcare environment, with exposure to clinical workflows and systems
Experience in blood banking, transfusion medicine, hospital workflows, plasma, tissue, or cell and gene therapy is highly preferred
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to approach challenges in a structured and practical way
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks and activities simultaneously
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Experience with business analysis tools and techniques, including requirements elicitation, use case development, process modelling, workflow documentation, and technical documentation
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence
Ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
Willingness to travel occasionally
