Job Description
Summary: Magnera Corporation is a company dedicated to providing material solutions for over 160 years. They are seeking a Product Line Management Intern for their Personal Care team to support global market intelligence and supplier analysis initiatives. The intern will develop a global supplier intelligence database, conduct trade flow analysis, and contribute to market share modeling.
Responsibilities:
- Compile, analyze, and consolidate data from 3rd party information and internal sources to support market intelligence initiatives
- Build and maintain a comprehensive global supplier intelligence database, classifying suppliers by geography, end-markets served, machine technologies, and installed capacity
- Develop visual dashboards and analytical tools to assess supplier concentration, line structures, competitive intensity, and regional supply distribution
- Analyze international trade flows; integrate findings with capacity estimates to evaluate utilization rates and domestic supply availability
- Support the development of bottom-up market share models by region and application
- Monitor market trends; provide structured weekly and monthly updates to the Personal Care team
- Prepare executive-ready summaries and presentations highlighting key insights and strategic implications
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelors or Masters degree - Business or Marketing
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret large datasets
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data organization required)
- Ability to synthesize data into clear insights and structured summaries
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities within defined timelines
- Some experience in Business, Operations Management, Supply Chain, Manufacturing Processes, Marketing, or related fields
