Summary: Madison Energy Infrastructure is a leading developer, investor, and operator of clean energy infrastructure. The M&A Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting high-impact initiatives within the M&A team, focusing on technical diligence for renewable energy projects and collaborating with engineering and development teams. Responsibilities: - Assisting with technical diligence for renewable energy projects, including review of engineering designs, site layouts, and equipment specifications - Supporting the team in analyzing solar production estimates, system performance assumptions, and project design parameters - Working with engineering and development teams to review project drawings, technical documentation, and engineering reports - Supporting the development and maintenance of technical project summaries and diligence materials - Supporting additional technical and project development initiatives as needed Required Qualifications: - A rising undergraduate Junior or Senior studying Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related field) - Interest in renewable energy systems, solar project development, or power infrastructure - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Interest in working in a team environment and learning about the energy industry with real-life work experience - Experience with Microsoft Excel - Energetic and ready to tackle new projects and ideas - Hands-on, with careful attention to detail - Strong organizational and time management skills - Hard-working and able to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment - Deadline oriented - Effective written and verbal communication skills to build strong interpersonal relationships Required Skills: Renewable energy systems Important Skills: Microsoft Excel, Analytical skills Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer
