Summary: Madison Energy Infrastructure is a leader in clean energy infrastructure development and investment. They are seeking a Summer 2026 Finance Intern to support their Finance team, providing hands-on experience in cash flow analysis, debt financing, and tax equity processes related to renewable energy projects. Responsibilities: - Partner with Finance Operations team to track and analyze cash flows associated with state-level incentives and programs that drive project economics, gaining insight into how policy and incentives support renewable energy development - Learn about the debt financing process for clean energy projects, including how construction and operating funds are modeled, requested, reviewed, and funded by lenders - Support the Tax Equity financing process for clean energy projects, including Investment Tax Credits (ITC) and related policies under the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) - Collaborate cross-functionally with Development, Delivery, and Asset Management teams to understand the full project lifecycle - Ad hoc support across the Finance team: Finance Operations, Tax Equity, and Debt Required Qualifications: - Rising undergraduate Senior (Class of 2027) OR current graduate student (Class of 2026 or 2027) - Demonstrated interest in clean energy, infrastructure, finance, operations, or related fields - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment - Highly detail-oriented, organized, and self-motivated - Eagerness to learn and contribute meaningfully to a team Preferred Qualifications: - Interest and/or experience utilizing AI to improve efficiency and productivity Required Skills: Analytical skills, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint Important Skills: Interest in clean energy Nice-to-Have Skills: Eagerness to learn, AI utilization, Self-motivated Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer
