Summary: Maddox is the nation’s leading provider of electrical transformers to the commercial and industrial market, and they are seeking a Financial Analyst to develop the FP&A function. The role involves partnering with business operational managers to deliver accurate financial results, planning, and analysis, as well as preparing cash flow forecasts and collaborating on automated BI reports. Responsibilities: - Partner with business operational managers in the construction, restaurant, real estate, and events business units to deliver accurate financial results, planning, and analysis - Architect annual planning and monthly forecasting processes - Compile project spend forecasts and reports for construction project managers - Produce prime cost reports and help establish performance targets for restaurant general managers - Prepare cash flow forecasts to support the treasury management function - Collaborate with systems team to develop automated SQL based BI reports and dashboards Required Qualifications: - Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting required - 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting - Highly organized with sharp attention to detail and proactive time management - Solution-oriented thinker with strong interpersonal and communication skills - Proficiency with Google or Microsoft Office Suites (Sheets/Excel, Docs/Word) Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Accounting Software (Xero) - Experience with BI Reporting (Metabase, BigQuery) Required Skills: Financial Analysis Important Skills: Accounting Software (Xero), BI Reporting Metabase, BI Reporting BigQuery, Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite Nice-to-Have Skills: Solution-oriented Thinking Benefits: 3 Weeks Paid Time Off (PTO) (and an additional week for managers, and an additional week after 5 years), Health & Wellness: Can be taken as traditional insurance, or as cash in lieu of benefits.
