Job Description
Summary: Maddox is the nation’s leading provider of electrical transformers to the commercial and industrial market, recognized for its rapid growth. The company is seeking a Financial Analyst to enhance its FP&A function, partnering with operational managers to provide accurate financial insights and planning.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with business operational managers in the construction, restaurant, real estate, and events business units to deliver accurate financial results, planning, and analysis
- Architect annual planning and monthly forecasting processes
- Compile project spend forecasts and reports for construction project managers
- Produce prime cost reports and help establish performance targets for restaurant general managers
- Prepare cash flow forecasts to support the treasury management function
- Collaborate with systems team to develop automated SQL based BI reports and dashboards
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting required
- Preferred 1-3 years of experience in financial analysis or accounting
- Highly organized with sharp attention to detail and proactive time management
- Solution-oriented thinker with strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficiency with Google or Microsoft Office Suites (Sheets/Excel, Docs/Word)
- Experience with Accounting Software (Xero) and BI Reporting (Metabase, BigQuery) a plus
