Sales Executive at M62AI in New York Metropolitan Area, NY

About M62 AI

AI has boundless potential to transform wealth management — but only if it's trustworthy enough for a regulated industry to actually rely on. We're an early-stage, well-funded startup solving that problem: building the AI infrastructure wealth management firms need to move fast without giving up control, accuracy, or accountability.

We're founded and led by operators who've spent their careers at the top of the wealth and asset management industry — people building the platform they always wished existed. We're moving fast, and already live with design partners representing serious scale.

About the role

As an early member of our commercial team, you’ll work closely with our founders to shape our outbound sales approach, test messaging, and build relationships with RIA principals, family-office COOs, and other senior decision-makers.

This is not a high-volume dialing role. You’ll combine deep prospect research, personalized outreach, and consultative conversations to understand business needs and generate qualified pipeline.

You’ll have meaningful ownership from the start, helping refine our ideal customer profile and build a repeatable approach. You should be a builder at heart—comfortable with ambiguity, ready to test ideas, and energized by creating structure as we grow.

What You'll Work On

• Identify and prioritize prospects. Build targeted account lists and outbound campaigns focused on RIA principals, family-office COOs, heads of operations, and other relevant decision-makers.
• Understand each firm’s business. Research assets under management, operating models, technology stacks, custodial relationships, and potential challenges to develop informed outreach.
• Start meaningful conversations. Create personalized outreach across email, phone, and LinkedIn that speaks to each prospect’s priorities and invites a substantive discussion.
• Qualify and develop opportunities. Assess fit, explore business needs, and document stakeholders, priorities, and next steps to support a clear handoff to the founders or closing team.
• Help build the outbound approach. Test account segments, messaging, channels, and outreach sequences; use what you learn to improve targeting and conversion.
• Keep pipeline information reliable. Maintain accurate CRM records and track outreach effectiveness, qualified opportunities, and pipeline progression.
• Bring market insights back to the team. Share recurring objections, competitive insights, and unmet needs to inform our positioning and product conversations.
• Support broader pipeline development. Help turn inbound interest, content engagement, and event connections into qualified conversations as these channels develop.

What We're Looking For

• Experience generating qualified B2B SaaS pipeline in sales development, business development, or a related role-- with proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
• Experience selling into wealth management or financial services, with familiarity with RIAs, family offices, custodians, and the operational challenges these firms face.
• A research-driven approach and the judgment to connect what you learn about a prospect to a relevant business conversation.
• Strong written and verbal communication, including the ability to write clear, credible outreach and engage senior decision-makers.
• Evidence of creating quality opportunities through thoughtful targeting, personalization, and consistent follow-through.
• A builder’s mindset and comfort with ambiguity. You can create structure where it doesn’t yet exist, make thoughtful decisions with incomplete information, and adapt as priorities evolve.
• Experience with a CRM such as Salesforce or HubSpot and familiarity with prospecting and sales engagement tools.
• Curiosity about AI and how it can improve the way wealth management firms work.
