Till Assistant - Seasonal Temp at Lush in Milton Keynes, England, GB

The Role

Our tills assistants are key to our success during the seasonal period, with it being the busiest time of the year for us! Our till assistants will need to be ready to jump straight in to a fast paced environment, and have the focus and communication to work as part of a team to ensure the smoothest experiences for our customers.

This role will have a lot of customers asking about product names prices, a large proportion of them being packaging-free, so our team always needs good memory of our product details to give the customer the information they need in as little time as possible!

Our till assistants are expected to have the dedication to actively sell charity products - our main focus being Charity Pot Hand & Body Lotion, which has been back in stores since September, and we as a shop are recognised for our high sales of this! As well as this, our till staff should be able to confidently fundraise for our local charities from the till point, to help us support the causes that are important to us, especially at Christmas!

Our ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a passion and determination to achieve targets and goals by promoting our products and ethics to our customers at the till point.

Notice about the use of AI in applications: We do check every single application for answers that have been AI generated. If we find that an application or answer is AI generated, then we are much more likely to reject that application altogether.

Diversity Matters We are building a brand that represents the people of the world. It’s what you do that counts, and we are always looking to expand perspectives and voices to shape our future.

We see you, we celebrate you, we want you!

Who We Are You might know us as the inventors of the bath bomb, but there’s more to this great-smelling, partly employee-owned, family-run company than pioneering cosmetics. We believe our business should put more back into the world than it takes and demonstrate that capitalism can be a force for good.

The Living Wage Foundation’s statement 'a hard day's work deserves a fair day's pay' is one that we are proud to commit to in the UK. As an accredited Living Wage employer, we put our people first and fight cruel practices like animal testing, promote regeneration, and show that it is what’s inside that counts - whether that’s an ingredient in a product, or the minerals in a smartphone.
