They are seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to join their San Jose Laser R&D team, where the intern will support electrical system design and work on new product development projects. Responsibilities: - Support electrical system design of laser system - Work with seasoned engineer on PCB & PCBA schematic/layout design of laser system - Hands on bring-up / troubleshoot of Proto design with electrical test equipment - Design analysis of electrical designs e.g. electrical tolerance analysis, component specification compliance, etc Required Qualifications: - Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Electrical Engineering or a related field Preferred Qualifications: - Sense of curiosity and enjoys hands on work - Familiarity with PCBA CAD software and engineering analysis tools (e.g. LTSpice) - Experienced with electrical lab equipment - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint - Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to teamwork Required Skills: Electrical Engineering, PCBA CAD software, Electrical lab equipment Important Skills: Engineering analysis tools Nice-to-Have Skills: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, Problem-solving skills, Communication skills, Teamwork Benefits: Annual bonus, Commission for certain sales roles, Equity, Health and welfare benefits
