Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in post-contract quantity surveying, interim payment applications, variations, claims, cost control, contract administration and commercial management.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit Interim Payment Applications (IPA) and progress payment applications.
• Prepare monthly valuations and monitor project quantities and work progress.
• Review BOQs, contracts, drawings, specifications and scope of work.
• Measure and evaluate completed works for payment purposes.
• Prepare and evaluate Variations, Change Orders and additional works.
• Prepare, review and support Extension of Time (EOT) and contractual claims.
• Maintain accurate records of project costs, quantities, variations and payments.
• Coordinate with project, site, planning and commercial teams to verify completed works.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors and suppliers on commercial matters.
• Assist in contract administration and commercial negotiations.
• Review subcontractor and supplier payment applications.
• Monitor project costs against budgets and contractual requirements.
• Prepare final accounts and support project close-out activities.
• Identify commercial risks and assist in resolving contractual and payment issues.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and contractual requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience.
• UAE experience is preferred.
• Strong experience in Interim Payment Applications, Variations, Claims and Final Accounts.
• Good understanding of contracts, BOQs, measurements and project commercial procedures.
• Experience working with consultants, clients, contractors or subcontractors.
• Strong knowledge of MS Excel and quantity surveying/commercial documentation.
• Good communication, negotiation and analytical skills.
• Candidates must be currently available in the UAE.
