Job Description
PRODUCTION MANAGER
JOB SUMMARY
The Production Manager is responsible for the effective implementation and continuous improvement of the company’s quality and food safety systems to ensure the consistent production of safe and quality products. The role works closely with Materials Management, Production, and other Plant Operations functions to ensure quality requirements are achieved without compromising delivery, efficiency, and cost. The Production Manager provides direction, guidance, and support to Production personnel in achieving department objectives and company goals.
SAFETY
- Practices and Champions SAFETY FIRST at all times. Leads in the implementation of company safety initiatives, directions, SOP’s, protocols, guidelines, etc. ensuring all personnel understands and adheres to it without exception.
- Immediately corrects any safety deviation or calls out any safety violation or practices of direct reports and provides corrective actions.
- Ensures wearing of required PPE’s of all personnel at all times.
- Informs direct superior if there are any safety related concerns/issues on the area of assignment for immediate resolution that needs intervention of higher management. No work shall commence if there are any safety related concerns.
Work Experience
- At least 5 years’ experience as Production Manager capacity in a food and beverage manufacturing, meat processing, or feeds manufacturing set up.
Academic Background
- BS Chemistry, BS Chem. Engineering, BS Bio major in Micro or any food science-allied courses. Preferably Licensed Chemist, Licensed Chem. Tech, or PAM-accredited Microbiologist.
Pay: Php40,000.00 - Php80,000.00 per month
