Job Description:
Widespread die-back of Phragmites australis in Plaquemines Parish, Louisiana, continues to threaten the stability of coastal marsh habitats. We seek a postdoctoral associate with extensive expertise in foliar and soil microorganisms, including taxonomy, culturing techniques, and greenhouse and field experimentation. Experience working with P. australis is preferred.
The successful candidate will lead experimental studies to quantify the effects of fungal associates on plant biomass, tissue chemistry, and interactions with herbivorous insects. Additional responsibilities include developing and managing a research database, conducting statistical analyses, and supervising undergraduate research assistants.
Duties Include:

Minimum Qualifications:
