Job Description
ESOL Tutor (English as a Second Language)
Responsibilities
- Provide targeted academic support to students.
- Work with small groups of students in push-in or pull-out settings.
- Support students in completing assignments and mastering content as outlined by a designed curriculum.
- Collaborate effectively with teachers and other school staff.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required.
- A foundational understanding of the content area is necessary to effectively tutor students.
- Retired teachers are highly encouraged to apply!
- Training will be provided.
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team-oriented environment.
- Must be able to pass a background screen and/or fingerprinting.
Work Hours
This is a part-time position, hours to be determined.
Compensation
- Bachelor's Degree: $40 per hour
- Less than a Bachelor's Degree: $20 per hour
