Job Description
Summary: Los Alamos National Laboratory is a prestigious multidisciplinary research institution focused on national security. Responsibilities:
- Learn about facilities mechanical systems design and operation from seasoned engineers
- See how your engineering skills can contribute to national security
- Learn how to be a design team member
- Learn how to navigate and implement prevailing industry codes and standards
- Gain expertise in the development of design deliverables including drawings, specifications, test and inspection plans (TIPs), statements of special inspections (SSIs), and calculations
- Develop engineering judgment
Required Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a graduate program
- Must be enrolled in at least 12 semester credit hours (or full-time equivalent). Entering college freshmen must provide documentation indicating matriculation into an undergraduate degree program
- Must currently have and maintain a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or equivalent)
