Responsibilities
- Administer prescribed medications accurately and timely according to physician orders and care plans.
- Monitor residents for medication effectiveness, side effects, and changes in condition, reporting concerns to the nursing team.
- Maintain accurate medication administration records and documentation.
- Assist with resident care and activities of daily living as appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with state regulations, infection control standards, and medication management protocols.
- Promote resident safety, dignity, independence, and quality of life.
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver exceptional care.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and secure medication administration environment.
Qualifications
- Full/Part Time Hours
- Schedule: Days, Evenings
- Every other weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday)
- Maryland CMA license
- Maryland GNA (CNA-I) license
- Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 25–50 pounds as part of daily job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accomodation
