Licensed Psychologist at Lorenz Clinic in Minneapolis, MN

Tired of factory-model mental health care? So are we.

At Lorenz Clinic, we’re not trying to be the biggest—we’re trying to be the best. We are a psychologist-led system, built from the ground up to prioritize deep clinical thinking, interdisciplinary collaboration, and reflective practice. Our governance, supervision, and training models are shaped by practicing psychologists—not non-clinical administrators.

We’ve seen what happens when systems chase scale without substance: burnout, detachment, and a flattening of the profession. That’s not who we are. At Lorenz, we protect what matters: time to think, clinical freedom, and a culture of collegial excellence.

When you work with us, you get:

• Time to reflect and grow—paid CEU time, burnout prevention days, generous PTO, service days, and up to 12 weeks paid parental leave
• Autonomy over your caseload, schedule, and professional focus
• A community of excellence—we hire only the top 5% of applicants, so you're surrounded by smart, thoughtful, well-trained clinicians
• Clinical leadership that understands your craft, values your training, and builds systems that support psychological practice—not dilute it

If you’re a licensed psychologist looking for a long-term clinical home—one where your thinking is valued, your training respected, and your contribution meaningful—we’d love to meet you.

Make a difference on Main Street—not Wall Street. Join us and help build the kind of clinic this field deserves.

About Lorenz Clinic

At Lorenz Clinic of Family Psychology, we’re not building the biggest clinic—we’re building the best. We’re clinician-owned, psychologist-led, and unapologetically committed to clinical depth over commercial volume. That means everything here is structured to elevate the craft of psychotherapy—not dilute it.

We’re proud to be one of the most selective clinics in Minnesota, hiring only 2–5% of applicants. We invest in reflective, relational, and developmentally informed care, and we’ve created one of the most rigorous clinical training environments in the region. Our training center is nationally recognized for its Post-Master’s Fellowship, and we are growing a vertically integrated system that includes practica, APA-accredited internship, postdoctoral fellowships, and clinician-research pathways.

What sets Lorenz apart is not just its programs—it’s its vision. We are actively building one of the leading family institutes in the country, rooted in systemic thinking, practice-informed research, and clinician-led innovation. Our BHAG (Big Hairy Audacious Goal) is to leave a lasting impact on the field by training clinician-scholars, shaping public systems, and restoring relational wholeness at scale. Through our clinical services, mentorship culture, and research agenda, we aim to transform how behavioral health is delivered—anchored in quality, not compromise

.

We welcome clinicians from all backgrounds and identities. Our belief is simple: diverse systems think better, adapt faster, and serve more fully. Inclusion and equity aren’t buzzwords—they’re infrastructure. If you’re a psychologist looking for more than a job—if you want to do great work with great people, be part of a system that’s resisting mediocrity, and help build something enduring—we’d love to meet you.
