Taxable Sales & Trading 2027 Summer Intern at Loop Capital · Chicago

Summary: Loop Capital is a full-service investment bank, brokerage, and advisory firm providing capital solutions to corporate, governmental, and institutional entities. The Taxable Sales & Trading Intern will support the Fixed Income Division across sales and trading workflows, including market monitoring, client requests, analysis, reporting, and internal communication.

Responsibilities:
- Monitor trading desk inventory and product spreads and values
- Assist in responding to specific client portfolio requests
- Create spreadsheets, market monitors, pricing matrices, product-specific analysis, portfolio comparative analysis and sales and trading reports
- Engage in specific corporate-related projects, including the creation of PowerPoint presentations
- Help support the dissemination of relevant data between each group
- Assist with increasing communication and effectiveness of both desks

Required Qualifications:
- Enrollment as a rising college Junior or Senior in Summer of 2026 with a record of high academic achievement
- Fundamental research, math, accounting and Bloomberg skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Self-motivated, ability to take initiative
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail, demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness in work product

Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of fixed income preferred
