Job Description
Summary: Longevity Holdings, Inc. is a fast-growing company that provides senior longevity data, analytics and services to the pension, benefits, life insurance, structured settlement, and life settlement markets. They are seeking a Summer Law Clerk Intern who will be responsible for reviewing, drafting, and editing contracts and agreements, as well as conducting legal research on various topics related to life insurance and data privacy.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing, drafting and editing contracts and agreements
- Conducting and compiling legal research regarding a variety of topics related to life insurance, data privacy and security, state licensing, and various contract provisions
Required Qualifications:
- Completion of a minimum of one year of law school
- Strong critical thinking skills and attention to detail
- Excellent presentation and communications skills
- Demonstrates strong performance in legal writing
- Ability to handle multiple projects and a demanding workload, while meeting tight deadlines
- Proficient at legal research
- Proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to work effectively independently and with a team
- Must be currently legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status, 0-1, TN, CPT, OPT, etc.)
