Job Description
Summary: Lockheed Martin is a leader in aerospace and defense, seeking a Finance Analyst for their JAVELIN Finance & Business Operations team. The role involves managing program financial performance, monitoring expenditures, and supporting financial analysis requests while ensuring alignment with company processes.
Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day program finance responsibilities of managing program business and financial performance from proposal and negotiations through contract execution and closeout
- Assist the program team and financial management in monitoring and tracking program expenditures, highlighting issues / concerns / trends, and ensuring program financial commitments are met
- Will interact with a variety of program and financial management personnel and ensure alignment with company and program processes and procedures
- Support Ad Hoc financial analysis requests from internal and external customers
- Effectively communicate performance to leadership teams
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in a business related field such as finance, business administration, or related discipline
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software tools
- Understanding of basic financial concepts
- Experience with working on a team or group project
- Ability to work remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility
- This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior related internship or college work experience program
- Prior work experience in any field, demonstrating success in the workforce
- Ability and desire to collaborate both virtually and in office on a weekly basis
- Ability to work efficiently and independently with limited direction from management
- Self-starter attitude, process-oriented, structured problem solver
- Robust data acumen and familiarity with modern data, reporting, and automation tools (Tableau, Power BI, AI, etc)
- Quick learner with aptitude for various systems and processes
