We specialise in precision barbering, traditional hot towel shaves, beard sculpting, and men’s grooming in a classic yet contemporary environment. We are seeking a qualified and experienced Barber to join our team.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide high-quality barbering services to clients, combining technical expertise with exceptional customer service to maintain our reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Discuss hair, beard, and grooming requirements with clients to determine and recommend appropriate styles and treatments
• Cut, trim, and style hair using clippers, scissors, razors, and other barbering tools
• Shave and trim beards and moustaches using traditional techniques, including hot towel treatments and straight-edge razors
• Clean, style, and maintain beards, moustaches, and hairpieces
• Wash hair and apply treatments such as tonics, conditioners, and grooming products
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation of the work area, tools, and equipment in line with health and safety regulations
• Keep up to date with current men’s grooming trends, tools, and techniques

Skills

• Advanced cutting techniques including fades, tapering, and scissor-over-comb
• Skilled in beard trimming, shaping, and styling
• Proficiency in hot towel shaves and straight razor work
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
• High attention to detail and personal presentation

Qualifications and Experience

• Certificate III in Hairdressing or Barbering (or equivalent)
• At least one year of full-time employment at the required skill level as a barber or hairdresser, including men’s grooming services
• Demonstrated expertise in both classic and contemporary men’s styles
