Job Overview

Visiting Angels is looking for a compassionate, dependable, and Chinese-speaking caregiver to join our team. The Caregiver provides physical care and emotional support to clients who may need assistance with daily activities due to illness, injury, surgery, or disability.

The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, and able to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking clients. We are looking for someone who treats clients and their homes with dignity, compassion, patience, and respect while helping them maintain their comfort, safety, and independence.

Job Requirements

• Chinese-speaking proficiency required to communicate effectively with the client

• At least one year of personal or professional caregiving experience, or an active CNA credential

• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and proof of auto insurance

• Ability to pass required background checks, driver's license review, and drug screening

• Dependable, patient, compassionate, and committed to client safety

• Ability to arrive on time and consistently work assigned shifts

Caregiver Responsibilities

• Provide physical assistance and emotional support to clients at home

• Assist with personal care and hygiene, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, as needed

• Assist with walking, mobility, and transfers

• Provide medication reminders or permitted medication assistance according to the care plan

• Prepare meals and assist with meal-related needs

• Perform light housekeeping and laundry related to client care

• Provide companionship and encourage independence

• Communicate client concerns or changes in condition to the office

• Arrive on time and dressed appropriately for each shift

• Accurately clock in and out using the company mobile app
