Summary: Live Nation Entertainment is the world’s largest live entertainment company, and they are seeking a Software Development Intern to join their Integration Team at Ticketmaster. This role involves contributing to the design, development, and testing of software solutions to support major sports teams and venues, enhancing B2B offerings, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: - Coding and Programming: Collaborate with the development team to write well-designed, efficient, and maintainable code in accordance with established coding standards - Software Design and Architecture: Contribute to the design and architecture of software solutions, considering factors such as scalability, performance, and user experience - Testing and Debugging: Assist in the testing and debugging of software applications to ensure they meet quality standards. Identify and address issues through systematic troubleshooting - Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other developers, to deliver high-quality software solutions - Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including code comments, system architecture documentation, and user manuals - Learning and Growth: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices. Actively participate in team discussions and share insights - Closely interact with senior developers, management, Project Management, Product Management, Operations, and a wide variety of teams throughout the organization Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with at least 2 years of completed coursework - Familiarity with object oriented programming languages, such as, Java, Python, C++.
