Job Description
Summary: LINX LLC is a company that connects people through technology, specializing in commercial network cabling for various systems. They are seeking an Audio Visual Service Engineer to assist in testing, troubleshooting, and resolving customer issues for audio-visual projects while providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Test integrated systems and perform troubleshooting for AMX/Crestron, DSP and network systems
- Modify code for DSP systems
- Assess, troubleshoot and repair all conference rooms
- Identify system bugs to programmer/Senior Support Engineer
- Make recommendations to project Manager and customer on design/scope issues
- Make minor programming changes under the direction of an engineer or programmer
- Fine tune audio video systems to ensure optimal performance
- Provide excellent customer service
Required Qualifications:
- Will be able to follow directions of a Senior Service Engineer for the following tasks: Networked device addressing, Program loading, Without support, connect to various IP/USB control system for configuration and setting adjustment, Is working towards proficiency in LINX standards of programming, QA/QC
- Can troubleshoot and train, DMPS boardroom rooms
- Can identify system bugs to programmer/Senior Service Engineer
- Has a Basic understanding of AV solutions, empowered to make recommendation to Customer, Project Manager, or Engineer on design/scope issues
- Is proficient in LINX standards of programming, QA/QC
- Can self-service, DM and NVX Divisible type rooms
- Takes all support issues on
- Can identify, fix or task out issues
- Makes sure the work is up to Linx standards
- Has a good understanding of AV solutions, is empowered to make adjustment to design to customer requirements
- Is proficient in LINX standards and is able hold others to these standards
- Can fix any programming bugs and issues with only direction from programming (Minimal remote in support)
- Takes all support issues on
- Can fix any programming bugs and issues with only direction from programming (Not remote in)
- Leads service engineers on complex tickets
- Can train other Service Engineers the LINX way
- Can take on any aspect of completing the project- Ordering through Procurement, Customer coordination, onsite management, etc
Preferred Qualifications:
- CTS Optional
- Extron EVAV
- Crestron Installer and P101
