Do you enjoy working with children? Love teaching, storytelling, and helping kids grow? Join the Lil’ Kickers & Skills Institute Soccer team and make a meaningful impact every week.

An LK Soccer Coach leads children ages 18 months to 10 years old through a 50-minute structured class focused on development, confidence, and fun. Coaches play a key role in creating a safe, positive, and consistent experience for children and families.

This role is ideal for committed high school students, college students, recent graduates, and adults looking for reliable part-time work in a supportive, team-driven environment. Soccer experience is helpful, but not required — full training is provided.

About Our Programs

• Lil’ Kickers (18 months–5 years): A nationally recognized child development program that uses soccer as a tool to build confidence, coordination, and social skills
• Skills Institute (5–10 years): A structured soccer training program focused on skill development and progression

Our culture is built around positivity, inclusion, and growth — for kids and coaches alike. Each year, our team inspires 15,000+ children across our communities.

What You’ll Do

• Lead fun, structured 50-minute soccer classes

• Create a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment for kids

Schedule & Commitment

• Classes run on consistent weekly schedules
• Most coaches work 2–4 shifts per week

• Best fit for candidates who can commit for multiple sessions, not just a few weeks

Training & Growth

• Paid training (30–35 hours over approximately 6 weeks)
• Combination of online learning and on-field coaching practice
• Ongoing feedback and on-site support from experienced coaches
• Opportunities to grow into Mentor Coach and Site Lead roles

Pay & Perks

• Pay increases based on training completion, tenure, and leadership roles
• Individual quarterly retention bonus
• Quarterly leadership training
• Team outings, competitions, and contests
• Additional paid opportunities (birthday parties and special events)

Who Thrives in This Role

About Us

Lil’ Kickers is a nationwide soccer program rooted in child development theory for kids ages 18 months to 10 years old. Weekly classes are packed with fun and taught by dynamic coaches with a passion for kids. We focus on helping children build strong physical, intellectual and emotional skills using the game of soccer. With more than 100 locations across the U.S. and Canada, Lil’ Kickers has been a source of fun and individual growth for more than 1,000,000 participants over the past 20 years.

Our Philosophy

Using world-renowned child development theories, our curriculum is child-centered, creative, and comprehensive. By rewarding the children’s effort and not just the outcome, we drive the will to try again and again and again. We believe an amazing on-field experience will keep children engaged and coming back for more.

Our Mission

To inspire. We believe childhood is a magical time full of possibilities. We believe in approaching everything from a developmental perspective. We believe learning should be fun. We believe in creating space for all children whether they are on the road to all-star soccer or simply just want to play.

Every Coach within Lil' Kickers has gone through rigorous training to make sure each child is getting the best instruction possible that is both age-appropriate and developmentally minded.
