Summary: Lightspark is building the open payment protocol for the Internet and is seeking new grads to help build the next generation of open payments infrastructure. The role involves shipping production code, designing APIs, and collaborating with senior engineers in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities: - Architecting the Future of Payments: Design and ship production services and APIs powering global payments, including some of our flagship products that move serious volume - AI-Augmented Engineering: You will heavily use claude code, codex, and in-house agentic coding tools to multiply your impact, automate common workflows, answer your own questions, and more. We're not stingy with tokens, and we expect you to get real leverage from these tools, not just autocomplete - Polyglot Fullstack Execution: You’ll be shipping high-quality code across Python and TypeScript with the curiosity to chip in with other languages like Go and Rust - High-Bandwidth Collaboration: Working in-office from our Culver City headquarters, you will collaborate daily with senior engineers to solve complex distributed systems challenges in real-time.
