Dietary Aid/Server at Lighthouse Senior Living in Essex, MD

This position is responsible for maintaining a clean kitchen area and cleaning dishes. Previous food service experience as server or dietary aid and ability to provide high standards of service to assisted living population.

• Develop and maintain professional functional working relationships with all employees and guests. • Handle guest complaints in a professional, courteous and timely manner. • Stock and rotate all needed supplies in the service areas and dining room. • Comply with all local and SOP health, sanitation, and food/ work safety guidelines. • Clear, clean, and reset tables and clean chairs, and floors after guests leave. • Comply with uniform and appearance standards. • Perform other assignments or tasks as assigned by the Dietary Manager or supervisor.

• Must be upbeat, outgoing and positive. • Must be able to assist assisted living population and possess great guest relations skills. • Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment. • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work effectively within a team. • Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time. • Continuous use of hands and arms. • Continuous bending, reaching and twisting required.
