The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for sustaining engineering of electronic hardware for fitness equipment, collaborating with teams to improve quality and resolve field issues. Responsibilities: - Collaborate with global field support staff over e-mail and conference calls to troubleshoot hardware issues - Perform engineering level failure analysis of field return units and components. De-bug at system level and board level to determine consistent failure modes - Drive timely improvements from analysis of returns to prevent further reoccurrence in the field - Create troubleshooting documents such as knowledge base articles and service bulletins - Collaborate within and outside the electrical engineering teams on cost reduction opportunities - Perform and document detailed board level validation test on proposed sustaining changes - Travel to customer sites and manufacturing locations, between 10-20% of time Required Qualifications: - Ability to read and analyze electrical circuits/schematics is required - Strong planning, organization and communication are a requirement - Must either have data analysis skills or a desire to learn them - B.S.
