Job Description
Summary: LG Electronics is a global leader in technology dedicated to creating innovative solutions for a better life. The HS Planning Intern will work on consolidating pricing and promotion data into a centralized database, developing analytical tools to support data-driven decision making.
Responsibilities:
- To collect, consolidate and organize data from multiple internal systems and data sources
- To clean, validate and structure data to ensure accuracy and consistency prior to upload
- Upload and maintain datasets within the OLAP server environment following defined data standards
- Retrieve and analyze data using OLAP cubes to support business analysis and reporting
- Work with stakeholders to understand reporting and analysis needs
- Design and develop excel based analytical tools, dashboards, and templates to support data-driven insights
- Assist in documenting data processes, definitions, and basic analytical methodologies
- Support ad-hoc data analysis and reporting requests as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program at an accredited College/University
- Basic skills in quantitative data analysis and be proficient in using Excel for creating charts and infographics
- Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office, Google, Teams, and AI-based drawing tools is required for visualizing ideas
- Demonstrates a strong interest in diverse generations and cultures, particularly related to food lifestyles in both the U.S. and Korea
- Curiosity and enthusiasm for customer observation, the ability to extract meaningful insights, and strong communication skills are essential qualities
- Mindset grounded in design thinking and the ability to approach and solve problems creatively
- Strong communication skills, outgoing personality
Preferred Qualifications:
- Rising Sophomore, Rising Junior in a business, data, or analytics related major is preferred
