Wilson Middle School - Learning Support Teacher and Options Teacher
FTE: 1.00 - Temporary
The anticipated start date is August 25, 2026, and the anticipated end date is January 28, 2027, or will be based upon the return of the incumbent.
The competition will remain open until May 13, 2026, at 10:00am.

Subjects
Wilson Middle School is seeking a Learning Support teacher to join their team! The successful candidate will be expected to support students in grades 6 to 8 as a Learning Support Teacher, and will also be expected to teach a Physical Education class, along with an options course. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong foundation in supporting students, have an unwavering belief that every child is a capable learner and will:
- Have previous experience as a Learning Support Teacher (preferred);
- Be committed to strong collaboration, communication and teamwork skills;
- Have an understanding of literacy and numeracy interventions;
- Have the ability to develop a genuine relationship with students and a willingness to connect with families;
- Possess a passion and willingness to work with students outside of the classroom in an extra-curricular setting.
