Job Description
Summary: Lennox is a leading company in HVAC and refrigeration solutions, dedicated to excellence and innovation. They are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer I to assist in the planning and designing of basic manufacturing processes, conduct analyses, and prepare specifications and procedures to support manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the application of basic engineering principles to perform routine design, fabrication, modification and evaluation in support of manufacturing operations
- Assist in conducting analyses or tests of a routine degree of complexity pertaining to the development of new methods, materials, processes or standards and provide recommendations accordingly
- Assist in the preparation of plans, process specifications and procedures, production aids and assembly fixtures, MRP support studies, factory cost work standards and assignments of similar complexity
- Assign work to drafters and technicians as needed
Required Qualifications:
- Requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology
- Familiar with analytical and CAD software
- Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings, and models
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
