Growth & Ops Intern: Coach Recruiting at Leland in Lehi, UT

Summary: Leland is a fast-growing startup focused on making expertise more accessible through coaching and educational content. They are seeking an intern to assist in recruiting top coaches by conducting outreach campaigns and managing the onboarding process. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and tracking performance metrics to improve recruiting strategies. Responsibilities: - Conduct outreach to potential coaches via email, LinkedIn, and other creative channels to bring top coaches onto the platform - Experiment with and develop new outreach strategies to continually improve response and conversion rates - Manage coach relationships through every step of the onboarding process—from first touchpoint to going live on the platform - Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth and engaging experience for new coaches - Track progress and performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and scale successful recruiting tactics Required Qualifications: - Excellent written and verbal communication skills—comfortable reaching out cold and building rapport quickly - Creative and persistent approach to sourcing and outreach - Highly organized with strong attention to detail; able to manage multiple conversations and processes simultaneously - Self-starter with a scrappy, hands-on mindset and a passion for connecting great people with great opportunities - Available to work in Lehi, Utah office at least 2x per week - Available to work no less than 15 hours per week Preferred Qualifications: - Previous internship or project experience in recruiting, marketing, business development, operations, or a fast-paced startup environment Important Skills: Creative sourcing, Recruiting experience Nice-to-Have Skills: Marketing experience, Business development experience, Operations experience, Startup experience Benefits: Opportunity to take part in building a world-class team, A collaborative, high-energy environment where your contributions have a direct impact, The chance to join a passionate team helping people achieve their career and educational dreams
