Job Description:

The candidate will serve as a Lead Engineer Electrical, bringing substantial proficiency in piping Electrical design, managing works and clients within the Industrial domain business for Lektus. He shall be backed by a proficient team of engineers specializing in the Electrical Engineering domain, primarily stationed at the Lektus Infrastructure office in Pune. We require an experienced Lead Engineer Electrical Engineer with a demonstrable history of spearheading design initiatives within the Industrial business domain.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and of Electrical Equipment and Utilities for Industrial process Plants.
• Design of Main Electrical Feeders.
• Design of General Power and Equipment Distribution
• Design for MV and LV power systems.
• Design for cable tray/earthing/lighting systems.
• Design and knowledge of ESP Surface Equipment like VDS / Output Transformers / MVD / MV or LV Switchboards / UPS systems, etc.
• ICT & Structured Cabling Design.
• Preparation of Load Calculations, SLDs, Cable Routing Layout and required electrical deliverables for submittals.
• Design and Analysis for circuits using software, i.e., ETAP.
• Preparation of design reports and design calculations for various electrical, I/C, and Power equipment.
• Production of procurement specifications for Electrical equipment; cable calculations and production of detailed design construction drawings.
• Responsible for performing Substation Design & Engineering services.
• Communication/coordination with Lead Engineers/PMs offshore
• Ensures timely internal and external reporting on engineering
• Liaise between multi-disciplinary teams, i.e., Mechanical/Civil/Structural

Required Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of Electrical Engineering principles and International Design Codes
• Understanding the relevant Digital/BIM standards (ISO19650 or previously PAS1192) is desired
• Knowledge of quality management and process improvement practices
• Basic knowledge of Water and Wastewater Area / Domain is preferred
• Collaborative Skills with Clients, Stakeholders, Project Management and Design Teams.
• Good Spoken English and written English is essential.

Software Skills:

• Autodesk BIM 360 / ACC, ProjectWise, Autodesk Navisworks, Revit MEP, ETAP, DIALux etc.
